AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the composition of the agricultural advisory board of |
|
|
an appraisal district. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 6.12(b), Tax Code, is amended to read as |
|
|
follows: |
|
|
(b) The agricultural advisory board members must be |
|
|
landowners of the district whose land qualifies for appraisal under |
|
|
Subchapter C, D, E, or H, Chapter 23[, and who have been residents |
|
|
of the district for at least five years]. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
