Pursuant to a notice posted on February 22, 2019, and permission granted on February 27, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Burrows, at 8:02 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Burrows; Bohac; Cole; Murphy; Noble; Sanford; Shaheen; and Wray.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 705.

 

The chair recognized Representative Geren to explain HB 705.

 

Representative Sanford offered a complete committee substitute.
