Pursuant to a notice posted on March 29, 2019, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 1:45 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Wray; Allison; Coleman; Frank; Guerra; Ortega; Price; Sheffield; and Zedler.

The chair laid out HB 531 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute and explained the committee substitute.

 

The chair moved adoption of the committee substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

The chair moved that HB 531, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
