Pursuant to a notice posted on January 31, 2019, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Huberty, at 12:39 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Huberty; Bernal; Allen; Allison; Ashby; Bell, Keith; González, Mary; Meyer; Talarico; and VanDeaver.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair called for invited testimony on issues related to the Texas Commission on Public School Finance report.
