CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 16, 2019, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Land & Resource Management held on May 14, 2019. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 14, 2019, and permission granted on May 14, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Craddick, at 1:33 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Craddick; Muņoz, Jr.; Biedermann; Leman; Minjarez; and Thierry.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the May 7, 2019, at 6:30 P.M., minutes for the House Committee on Land & Resource Management be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

SB 592

 

The chair laid out SB 592, companion to HB 1434.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Muņoz, Jr. moved that SB 592, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Craddick; Muņoz, Jr.; Biedermann; Leman; Minjarez; Thierry (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Bell, Cecil; Canales; Stickland (3).

 

 

 

SB 2558

 

The chair laid out SB 2558.

 

The chair moved that SB 2558, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
