Pursuant to a notice posted on May 1, 2019, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, Chris, at 9:46 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Turner, Chris; Stucky; Button; Frullo; Schaefer; Smithee; and Walle.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

SB 863

 

The chair laid out SB 863, the companion to House Bill 3055.

 

Representative Frullo moved that SB 863, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
