On April 23, 2019, the House Committee on Business & Industry authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Business & Industry held on April 18, 2019. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18, 2019, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Martinez Fischer, at 12:15 pm.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Martinez Fischer; Darby; Beckley; Collier; Landgraf; Parker; Patterson; and Shine.

The chair laid out SB 612, the companion to HB 1515 by Representative Nevarez.

 

Representative Collier moved that SB 612, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Martinez Fischer; Darby; Beckley; Collier; Landgraf; Parker; Patterson; Shine (8).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Moody (1).

 

HB 4390

 

The chair laid out HB 4390 as pending business.

 

Representative Darby offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Collier moved that HB 4390, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
