Pursuant to a notice posted on March 6, 2019, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Zerwas, at 12:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Zerwas; Longoria; Bell, Cecil; Bonnen, Greg; Buckley; Capriglione; Cortez; Davis, Sarah; González, Mary; Hefner; Howard; Miller; Minjarez; Muñoz, Jr.; Rose; Schaefer; Sheffield; Sherman, Sr.; Smith; Stucky; Toth; Turner, John; VanDeaver; Wilson; and Wu.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair referred HB 20, HB 274, HB 690, HB 1562, HJR 10, and HJR 82 to the subcommittee on Infrastructure, Resiliency, & Investments.

 

Riders

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The Chair moved the adoption of Riders for Articles I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, and XI.

 

The motion was adopted without objection.

 

The Chair provided direction to the Legislative Budget Board to produce the budget recommendations adopted by the Committee.

 

At 12:26 p.m., on the motion of Representative Capriglione and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
