No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to local mental health services providers' access to offenders' health benefit coverage information. The Texas Commission on Jail Standards indicates that the costs to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal implication to county governments is anticipated.
