No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to authorize certain counties to provide solid waste disposal services in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of certain municipalities and would prohibit a municipality from providing this service in the extra territorial jurisdiction if the service is provided by a county.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
