No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Code of Criminal Procedure, Health and Safety Code and the Government Code relating to compensation for a portion of a forensic medical examination of a sexual assault survivor and for the evidence collection kit required for the examination.

Based on information provided by the Office of the Attorney General, this analysis assumes duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
