SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 715
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize Durham Kevin White for achieving the rank of
	Eagle Scout; and
	WHEREAS, This fine young man is a member of Scouts BSA
	Troop 155 in Georgetown; as he joins the elite corps of Eagles, he
	will receive the coveted Eagle Badge at a Court of Honor; and
	WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished honor; only a
	small percentage of boys in the Scouts BSA program attain the
	rank of Eagle Scout; and
	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
	promise, Durham advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
	Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching Eagle
	Scout; and
	WHEREAS, This personable young man displayed leadership
	through planning, developing, and conducting a service project
	that benefited his community; for his project, he cleared a
	shaded area and installed benches at Our Lady of the Rosary
	Cemetery in Georgetown so families can sit and reflect on the
	lives of loved ones; he is truly a shining example to his fellow
	Scouts and the young people of Texas; and
	WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, Durham has brought
	great honor to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and
	his state; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
	Legislature, hereby commend Durham Kevin White on earning this
	prestigious honor and congratulate him on his outstanding
	achievement; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	Eagle Scout White as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
