HB 3697       Farrar
Relating to notice provided by an applicant to house inmates released on parole or to mandatory supervision.

HB 4103       King, Ken              
Relating to the civil commitment of sexually violent predators, the operation of the Texas Civil Commitment Office, and certain related offenses; increasing a criminal penalty.

     Invited testimony will be taken concerning operations of the state's correction system on issues within the purview of the Committee.

 

     The Committee may consider action to be taken on matters of business considered previously in public hearings and left pending by the Committee.

 

     Witnesses should limit their testimony to three (3) minutes.

 

     Witnesses may provide written materials for use by the Committee in accordance with the Texas House Rules, in which case the witness should provide ten (10) copies of the materials marked with the Bill number, prior to the hearing if at all possible.

 

     House Video / Audio Services will provide audio and video coverage of the hearing in accord with customary House of Representatives practice and procedure.
