Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services was held on Thursday, March 22, 2018, in the Senate Chamber.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Interim Charge 2D. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charge are shown on the attached list.

 

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Interim Charge 2A. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charge are shown on the attached list.

 

 

 

At 10:25 AM Senator Watson assumed the chair.

 

At 10:34 AM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.

 

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Interim Charge 2B. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charge are shown on the attached list.

 

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Interim Charge 2C. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charge are shown on the attached list.

At 12:24 PM Senator Kolkhorst assumed the chair.

 

At 12:40 PM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.

At 3:21 PM Senator Van Taylor assumed the chair.

 

At 3:25 PM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.

 

There being no further business, at 4:38 PM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
