Pursuant to a notice posted on September 27, 2017, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Alvarado, at 11:09 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Alvarado; Leach; and Johnson, Jarvis.

 

 

The committee heard testimony regarding short- and long-term housing needs and related issues resulting from Hurricane Harvey and associated flooding.
