Pursuant to a notice posted on July 13, 2018, revised on July 18, 2018, the House Committee on Special Purpose Districts met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Murphy, at 11:05 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Murphy; Perez; Bell; Cosper; and Leman.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Chairman Murphy explained changes to the municipal management template, developed in response to Interim Charge #4. 

 

Interim Charge #4:   Identify best practices in the creation of municipal management districts.  Study the feasibility of and make recommendations for creating standard language for the creation of municipal management districts through special law.

 

The members discussed the changes.

 

At 11:21 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
