Pursuant to a notice posted on November 17, 2017, the House Committee on Special Purpose Districts met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Murphy, at 9:04 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Murphy; Perez; Bell; Cortez; Cosper; and Lang.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Testimony was taken on the following interim charge:

 

Interim Charge #4:  Identify best practices in the creation of municipal management districts.  Study the feasibility of and make recommendations for creating standard language for the creation of municipal management districts through special law.

 

At 9:52 a.m., on the motion of Representative Murphy and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
