Pursuant to a notice posted on February 22, 2017, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at 8:07 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Phil; Nevárez; Hinojosa, Gina; Holland; Johnson, Jarvis; Metcalf; Schaefer; and Wray.

 

A quorum was present.
