Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2017, and permission granted on May 4, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Pensions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Flynn, at 4:08 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Flynn; Alonzo; Hefner; and Rodriguez, Justin.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 2190.

 

Representative Hefner moved that SB 2190, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

Representative Alonzo offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hefner moved that HB 4203, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
