Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 5, 2017, the House Committee on Pensions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Flynn, at 12:10 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Flynn; Alonzo; Anchia; Hefner; Huberty; Paul; and Rodriguez, Justin.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 1194

 

The chair laid out HB 1194 as pending business.

 

Representative Paul moved that HB 1194, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Flynn; Alonzo; Anchia; Hefner; Huberty; Paul; Rodriguez, Justin (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

The chair laid out HB 43 as pending business.

 

Representative Anchia offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hefner moved that HB 43, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
