Pursuant to a notice posted on March 22, 2017, and permission granted on March 27, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Pensions met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Flynn, at 3:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Flynn; Alonzo; Anchia; Huberty; Paul; and Rodriguez, Justin.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

 

HB 265

 

The chair laid out HB 265 as pending business.

 

Representative Paul moved that HB 265, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Flynn; Alonzo; Anchia; Huberty; Paul; Rodriguez, Justin (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Hefner (1).

The chair laid out HB 1014 as pending business.

 

Representative Rodriguez, Justin moved that HB 1014, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
