Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 20, 2017, and permission granted on May 20, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 11:58 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Burkett; Collier; Dean; Frank; Gonzales, Larry; and Longoria.

A quorum was present.

The chair recognized Rep. Larry Gonzales to explain the fiscal note to SB 2188.

Representative Gonzales, Larry moved that the following measure be transferred over to the House Calendars Committee: SB 2188.  The motion prevailed without objection.

At 11:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
