Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2017, and permission granted on May 16, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 5:13 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Herrero; Bell; Bailes; Blanco; Faircloth; Krause; and Stucky.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 468

 

The chair laid out SB 468 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Bell moved that SB 468, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Herrero; Bell; Bailes; Blanco; Faircloth; Krause; Stucky (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

SB 736

 

The chair laid out SB 736, companion to HB 1685.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Blanco moved that SB 736, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
