Pursuant to a notice posted on June 13, 2017, revised on June 16, 2017, the House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gutierrez, at 10:15 a.m. The Committee met in the San Antonio City Council Chamber.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gutierrez; Blanco; Arévalo; Cain; Flynn; Lambert; and Wilson.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The Committee met and heard invited and public testimony on the encroachment of military installations.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 3:21 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
