Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2017, and permission granted on May 2, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, Sarah, at 3:32 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, Sarah; Capriglione; Nevárez; Price; Shine; and Turner.

 

A quorum was present.

HB 2473

 

Representative Shine moved to reconsider all votes previously taken on HB 2473. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Shine moved that HB 2473, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Davis, Sarah; Moody; Capriglione; Nevárez; Price; Shine; Turner (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).

 

At 3:36 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
