Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18, 2017, and permission granted on May 18, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Parker, at 3:17 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Parker; Stephenson; Burrows; Dean; Holland; Johnson, Eric; and Longoria.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

SB 1994

 

The chair laid out SB 1994 as pending business.

 

Representative Holland moved that SB 1994, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Parker; Stephenson; Burrows; Dean; Holland; Johnson, Eric; Longoria (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).
