CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 20, 2017, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence held on May 16, 2017. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2017, and permission granted on May 16, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Moody, at 5:06 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Moody; Hunter; Canales; Gervin-Hawkins; Hefner; Lang; and Wilson.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

 

 

SB 1253

 

The chair laid out SB 1253.

 

The chair moved that SB 1253, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Moody; Hunter; Canales; Gervin-Hawkins; Hefner; Wilson (6).

 

Nays:                           Representative Lang (1).
