Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2017, and permission granted on March 9, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 11:25 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Springer; Hunter; Neave; Roberts; Thierry; and Uresti, Tomas.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

(Representative Biedermann now present.)

 

The Committee met for organizational purposes and to hear invited testimony regarding health care issues that fall under the committee’s purview.
