Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2018, revised on April 6, 2018, the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchia, at 8:30 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Anchia; Ortega; Parker; Shaheen; and White.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair began discussion of the posted agenda of invited testimony on the ongoing developments with the NAFTA renegotiation, and the recently proposed steel and aluminum tariffs, including a review of the impacts that theses changes would have on the state’s economy.

At 11:25 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
