SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 615
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize Charles Duncan for the heroism he displayed in saving a
	woman from a burning automobile; and
	WHEREAS, On March 14, 2017, Charles Duncan was traveling on
	US Highway 183 when his truck was hit from behind by another
	vehicle; the other vehicle then careened through a fence and onto
	an open field, where a fire broke out under the hood and quickly
	spread to the grass surrounding the vehicle; and
	WHEREAS, Without regard for his own safety, Mr. Duncan
	rushed to the vehicle and was able to help the woman escape before
	an explosion further damaged her automobile; and
	WHEREAS, Charles Duncan exhibited great bravery and quick
	thinking in rescuing the woman from her burning vehicle, and it
	is truly fitting that he receive special recognition; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
	Legislature, hereby commend Charles Duncan on his heroic actions
	and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
