SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 214
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Martha Eaves Craig
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Martha
  Eaves Craig of Mount Pleasant, who passed away on
  November 16, 2016, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Coleman and Meryle Eaves, the
  former Martha Eaves was born in Omaha, Texas, on January 4, 1948,
  and grew up with the companionship of her brother, Steve; she was
  joined in matrimony to Billy Craig, with whom she shared 53
  rewarding years, and the couple were blessed with three children,
  Stephanie Robertson and her husband, Teddy, Chet Craig and his
  wife, Amy, and Chris Craig; Mrs. Craig eventually knew the joy of
  welcoming into her treasured family five grandchildren, Brianna,
  Kayla, Heather, Christopher, and Cody, as well as several
  great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, A valued member of the Mount Pleasant community,
  Martha Craig owned and operated Billy Craig Service Station and
  Garage with her husband for many years; and
         WHEREAS, Martha Craig enjoyed a life that was rich in the
  intangibles that matter most, and she will forever hold a special
  place in the hearts of those who held her dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Martha Eaves
  Craig and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family
  and to her many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this day, it do
  so in memory of Martha Eaves Craig.
