SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 92
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize Domingo P. Sepulveda for his contributions to the
	Weslaco community; and
	WHEREAS, A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Domingo
	Sepulveda was born in San Juan, Texas; he attended the Weslaco
	Independent School District, and he later studied at The
	University of Texas--Pan American in Edinburg; he served his
	country with distinction in the United States Air Force and in
	the United States Air Force Reserve; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Sepulveda was a trustee on the Weslaco
	Independent School District Board for 18 years, during which time
	he served in numerous leadership positions, including as
	president; he further served the community as a coach for several
	area schools and independent sports leagues; as a Scout Master for
	two local Boy Scouts of America troops, he inspired several of the
	young men to achieve the high honor of Eagle Scout; in May of 1986,
	the Weslaco school district honored Mr. Sepulveda by naming the
	Domingo P. Sepulveda Athletic Complex in his honor; and
	WHEREAS, Domingo Sepulveda is a devoted husband and father
	and a treasured member of his community, and it is indeed fitting
	that he is being honored for a life of exceptional service to
	others; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
	Legislature, hereby commend Domingo P. Sepulveda for his many
	contributions to his community and extend to him best wishes in
	all his future endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
