R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt by |
|
the family and friends of Bryce Anthony Montgomery of Grand |
|
Prairie, a remarkable young man whose life was cut tragically short |
|
on May 9, 2017, at the age of 18; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Mark and Danita Montgomery, Bryce |
|
Montgomery was born on November 2, 1998, in Fort Worth; he grew up |
|
with the companionship of a brother, Braedon, and a sister, |
|
Brielle, with whom he shared many special memories; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Montgomery was a senior at Dubiski Career High |
|
School in Grand Prairie, where he studied game design, combining |
|
his artistic talents with his passion for video games; he also loved |
|
music, and in his free time, he enjoyed writing short stories; and |
|
WHEREAS, Guided by his Christian faith, Mr. Montgomery was |
|
generous and respectful; while he seemed quiet and reserved to |
|
those he first met, those who knew him well delighted in his |
|
kindness and spontaneity; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although the loss of one so full of promise brings |
|
immeasurable sorrow, those who were blessed to be part of Bryce |
|
Montgomery's life will forever carry his memory in their hearts; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bryce Anthony |
|
Montgomery and extend heartfelt sympathy to all who mourn his |
|
passing; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bryce |
|
Montgomery. |
