R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Rudy Hernandez is celebrating that significant |
|
|
achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High |
|
|
School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez is among the students who have |
|
|
completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced |
|
|
Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on |
|
|
law, government, and public administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Consuelo Hernandez and Martín Hernandez, |
|
|
Mr. Hernandez has kept up with a challenging course load while |
|
|
participating in a number of extracurricular activities, including |
|
|
audio and video production and animation and 3-D modeling, and he |
|
|
has earned an award for perfect attendance; after graduating, he |
|
|
plans to continue his education at El Paso Community College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Rudy Hernandez on the occasion of |
|
|
his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
