R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Omar Robert Sanchez Jr. is celebrating that |
|
|
significant achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the |
|
|
Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Sanchez is among the students who have completed |
|
|
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics |
|
|
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law, |
|
|
government, and public administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Tina Sanchez and Omar Sanchez, |
|
|
Mr. Sanchez enjoyed notable success as a student-athlete during his |
|
|
high school career; a member of the football team, he proved to be a |
|
|
valuable teammate on the Trailblazers squad that brought home a |
|
|
second consecutive bi-district championship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Omar Robert Sanchez Jr. on the |
|
|
occasion of his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas |
|
|
Academy and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sanchez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
