R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jack Reed of Austin has provided indispensable |
|
support to the House Committee on Public Education and its chair, |
|
Dan Huberty, during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, In the course of his tenure as a committee clerk, |
|
Mr. Reed has ably handled a wide variety of challenging tasks while |
|
helping to move legislation through the committee process; in |
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
service, he has learned more about the Texas Legislature and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Jean Reed and Ron and Michelle Reed, |
|
Mr. Reed received a degree in aviation management from Oklahoma |
|
State University in 2011 and went on to work as an operations |
|
supervisor at the Midland International Air and Space Port; he is |
|
also an Eagle Scout and an avid fly fisher; and |
|
WHEREAS, Jack Reed's skill, energy, and dedication have |
|
greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House |
|
Committee on Public Education, and he is indeed deserving of |
|
special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Jack Reed for his service as a clerk to |
|
the House Committee on Public Education and extend to him sincere |
|
best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Reed as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
