R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jessie Danielle Torres is graduating as the |
|
|
valedictorian of the senior class of Bishop High School in 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Torres has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Norma Frajto, Ms. Torres plans to |
|
|
continue her education at Stephen F. Austin University, studying |
|
|
biology and premed; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Jessie Danielle |
|
|
Torres has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jessie Danielle Torres, |
|
|
valedictorian of the Class of 2017 at Bishop High School, and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the |
|
|
next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Torres as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
