R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mackenzie Arnold is graduating as the salutatorian |
|
|
of the senior class of Calallen High School in 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Arnold has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Jonathan and Tish Arnold, Ms. Arnold |
|
|
plans to continue her education at Texas A&M University, studying |
|
|
business management and pre-law; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Mackenzie Arnold |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mackenzie Arnold, salutatorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2017 at Calallen High School, and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success as she begins the next exciting |
|
|
chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Arnold as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
