R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Ellie Makae Tilton is graduating as the |
|
valedictorian of the senior class of Calallen High School in 2017; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Tilton has demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Julie Tilton and Scott Tilton, |
|
Ms. Tilton plans to continue her education at Texas A&M University, |
|
studying biomedical science; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Ellie Makae Tilton |
|
has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ellie Makae Tilton, valedictorian |
|
of the Class of 2017 at Calallen High School, and extend to her |
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Tilton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
