R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kylie Calabrese has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Chris |
|
|
Turner during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Calabrese's positive attitude, foresight, |
|
|
resourcefulness, and initiative have earned the appreciation of her |
|
|
colleagues, and her contributions to carrying forth Representative |
|
|
Turner's legislative agenda have helped address issues facing |
|
|
citizens across the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Calabrese earned her bachelor's degree in |
|
|
history from the University of South Carolina, and she is currently |
|
|
pursuing a master's degree in public affairs from The University of |
|
|
Texas at Austin; she first joined the office of Representative |
|
|
Turner as a legislative intern in the summer of 2016, having |
|
|
previously gained valuable work experience as a policy intern for |
|
|
the American Heart Association and as a legal intern for the |
|
|
Richland County Public Defender's Office in South Carolina; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she |
|
|
is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Kylie Calabrese for her service as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Chris |
|
|
Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Calabrese as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
