R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Alfred Breuer has ably served his fellow Texans as
  legislative director in the office of State Representative Terry
  Canales during the 85th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Breuer's resourcefulness and initiative have
  earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his contributions to
  carrying forth the legislative agenda of Representative Canales
  have helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star
  State; since joining the staff, he has assisted with such vital
  tasks as drafting, researching, and monitoring legislation,
  analyzing and preparing briefing documents, and supporting work on
  the Energy Resources and Criminal Jurisprudence Committees; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of Austin College, Mr. Breuer holds a
  master's degree from George Mason University and an MBA from the
  Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa in Mexico City;
  he has previously served as an intern in the office of U.S.
  Congressman Henry Cuellar and as assistant outreach coordinator for
  the congressional campaign of Lukin Gilliland; in addition, he is
  the former deputy director for international affairs at the
  National Pork Producers Council in Washington, D.C.; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
  duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Alfred Breuer for his service as
  legislative director in the office of State Representative Terry
  Canales and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Breuer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
