R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jack and Janice Lobb of Irving celebrated their 70th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on April 5, 2017, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1947, Mr. and Mrs. Lobb |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lobb count among their blessings a fine |
|
|
family that includes their two sons, Chuck and James, with whom they |
|
|
treasure spending many special occasions; in addition to the love |
|
|
and support they enjoy from their family, they also find comfort and |
|
|
encouragement in their religious community at Plymouth Park Baptist |
|
|
Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For seven decades, Jack and Janice Lobb have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jack and Janice Lobb on their 70th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
