helped to preserve an important facet of local history by producing
a supplemental workbook for the Throckmorton Independent School
  District; and

the pre-Civil War military outpost Camp Cooper in Throckmorton
County was publicly inaccessible and thus ineligible for

junior high-level study material to supplement the district's Texas
history curriculum, and soon thereafter, his work was approved for
use by the Throckmorton ISD Board of Trustees; he also donated 20
books, many signed by the authors, relating to county history to the
  school library; and
WHEREAS, The Throckmorton Chamber of Commerce has committed
to having 25 copies of the material professionally bound and
donated to the local school system and the area homeschooling
cooperative; Mr. Woods is currently using the curriculum to compete

  Midwest Community Network; and
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has distinguished himself
