A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to licensing and reimbursing certain foster group homes
  that provide services to victims of sex trafficking.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subchapter C, Chapter 42, Human Resources Code,
  is amended by adding Section 42.0534 to read as follows:
         Sec. 42.0534.  FOSTER GROUP HOME FOR VICTIMS OF SEX
  TRAFFICKING.  The executive commissioner shall adopt rules
  governing the licensing and reimbursement of an independent foster
  group home that provides shelter and care for victims of sex
  trafficking. The rules must:
               (1)  include a procedure for obtaining a license for
  the home;
               (2)  provide for reimbursement in the name of the
  organization that manages the home; and
               (3)  provide for reimbursement at the intensive service
  level rate for residential child care provided by the home.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
