A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to reducing regulations on the application of certain
  pesticides by school district employees.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 1951.212, Occupations Code, is amended
  by adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows:
         (c-1)  Notwithstanding Section 1951.051(c) or this section,
  a school district employee is not required to hold a license under
  this chapter or Chapter 76, Agriculture Code, to apply at a school
  building or other school district facility, in a manner consistent
  with the label, a pesticide that is available for purchase by
  unlicensed members of the public.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
  a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
  provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this
  Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
  Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
