A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the repeal of certain provisions limiting the offering |
|
|
of courses by a public junior college within the service area of |
|
|
another public junior college. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Sections 130.251(d) and (d-1), Education Code, |
|
|
are repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies |
|
|
beginning with courses offered by a public junior college for the |
|
|
2018 spring semester. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
