A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to issuance of a vendor permit for the sale of goods during |
|
|
an event held in the Capitol Complex. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 2165, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 2165.260 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2165.260. CAPITOL COMPLEX VENDOR PERMIT. (a) The |
|
|
commission, with the approval of the State Preservation Board, |
|
|
shall establish a process for a vendor to apply for and obtain from |
|
|
the commission a permit that allows the vendor to sell goods from a |
|
|
rented space during an event held in the Capitol Complex, as defined |
|
|
by Section 443.0071. |
|
|
(b) The commission is not required to adopt the rules |
|
|
required under Subsection (a) until the Capitol Complex master plan |
|
|
developed under Section 2166.105 is implemented and the Texas Mall |
|
|
proposed in the plan is established. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
