Amend HB 238 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) Strike page 1, lines 9-21, and substitute the following:

(3) On page 2, lines 3 and 4, strike "other than an offense described by Subdivision (1)," and substitute "[other than an offense described by Subdivision (1),]".
(4) On page 2, line 5, strike "or any higher category of offense" and substitute "[or any higher category of offense]".
(5) On page 2, line 9, between "Penal Code" and the period, insert ", other than an offense described by Subdivision (1)".
