Amend CSHB 22 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 16, line 25, strike "and".
(2) On page 16, between lines 25 and 26, insert the following appropriately numbered subparagraph:
(____) efforts by districts and campuses relating to increasing teacher retention, including providing mentoring programs and professional development opportunities; and
(3) Renumber subparagraphs of the paragraph accordingly.
