SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 157
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Thomas Matthew Larry
 
         WHEREAS, Words cannot express the sorrow felt at the tragic
  loss of Thomas Matthew Larry of Hallsville, who died on August 7,
  2017, at the age of 11; and
         WHEREAS, Born to Pamela and Kedrick Larry on March 17,
  2006, Thomas Larry was a student at Hallsville Intermediate
  School, where his insightful and lively participation in
  classroom activities was appreciated by his teachers and fellow
  students alike; and
         WHEREAS, Thomas was an enthusiastic member of Troop No. 620
  of the Boy Scouts of America; blessed with an infectious smile
  and an engaging sense of humor, he made numerous friends and
  brightened their days with his hugs and jokes; and
         WHEREAS, Although it is immeasurably painful to lose someone
  so young, those left behind may find comfort in knowing that
  their lives have been forever enriched by the joyful times that
  they shared with this beloved young man; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Thomas Matthew Larry and extend heartfelt sympathy to the
  members of his family:  to his parents, Pamela and Kedrick Larry;
  to his brothers, Jake Billings and his wife, Nicole, Chris Larry,
  and John Larry; to his grandparents, Terry and Helen Braun and
  Willie Mae Williams; to his uncles and aunt, Father Justin Braun
  and Nicole and Travis Scott; to his nephew, Joshua; to his
  cousins, Taylor, Madeleine, Caleb, Timothy, Lily, and Benjamin;
  and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this day, it do
  so in memory of Thomas Larry.
